Begley Racing takes out Westernationals 2009
Fri, 6 Mar 2009Anthony Begley and his crew celebrated long and hard after winning the Top Comp (AA Funny Car) at the Westernationals 2009 held at Kwinana Motorplex. After a hesitant start, The crew tuned the car to perfection and was rewarded with a 6.05 second pass, just outside the record.
With speeds consistantly of around 230 mph each run, Anthony fought his way into the final and ran a 6.163 second quarter mile to win, not bad for his first season.
Well done to Anthony and the Crew from Begley Racing.
